Mapping Aesthetic Creativity in the Digital Age

Ontology Core is a collaborative project exploring the intersection between aesthetics and creativity through ontological modeling. Built by three masters students as part of the University of Bologna’s Digital Humanities program, it maps how web aesthetics from Y2K to Dark Academia emerge, evolve, and influence creative production.

This website serves as both a documentation of our research journey and a platform to share our findings, methodologies, and the ontology we developed.
